The Elmore County Sheriff's Office said in a statement that search and rescue teams, supported by two Idaho National Guard Blackhawk helicopters, looked for the hiker on Sunday.
It is learned that the last location of the missing hiker was provided by a personal satellite beacon on Wednesday, June 15.
The missing began at the Queens River trailhead near Atlanta. In addition to the area surrounding the trailhead, searchers were looking near Elk Lake in Boise County, and trails near the South Fork of the Payette River.
The sheriff's office says that the effort to locate the hiker will intensify on Monday as more search and rescue crews will join the search operation.
