The incident happened at home on Commonwealth Avenue at about 3:45 p.m. According to investigators, Robert C. Booth, 24, stabbed his roommate in the back. The condition of the victim is still unknown.
Police said that a 23-year-old woman also got injured during fight when she was punched in the face by Booth.
Booth ran away from the scene on foot but was later arrested when he was running through an open field.
Booth was interviewed by Caldwell Police detectives about the incident, and he was later booked into the Canyon County Jail on charges of aggravated battery and battery.
